2Texas Caucus of Black School Board Members (TCBSBM) is privileged to partner with our generous donors for our 2022 Scholarship opportunities

Our Online Scholarship Portal will open to receive application beginning February 1, 2022  through March 15, 2022  Students who are graduating from TCBSBM Member Districts may begin applying for scholarship ranging from $1000 to $3000. Teachers & Administrators will have an opportunity to win up to $3000 if nominated and selected. See details below.

 

Eligibility requirement will include school district membership and other items specific to each program.

Linebarger -TCBSBM 2022 Scholarship Fund


The Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson scholarship provides one-year scholarships for up to $1,000 to  five African American students  with average academic achievement and financial need working towards a community college degree, or trade school certification.

TCBSBM  Outstanding Teacher  2022 Nomination & Award


TCBSBM  has recognized innovation and accomplishment of outstanding teachers for years. Amidst the challenges educators faced in providing quality instruction to students whether in-person or online teachers have demonstrated a commitment as never seen before. If you know a deserving teacher who could use $1500.00 please  take time to complete an online application to nominate a deserving teacher.

TCBSBM  Outstanding Administrator of the Year  2022 Nomination & Award


Each year TCBSBM recognizes educators who possess certification as an administrator within a Texas public school, demonstrate exceptional skills as an instructional leader for their exemplary achievements. If you are someone you know excelled in setting high standards for instruction, student achievement, character, and climate for the students, families, and staff in their learning communities, please take a moment to complete our Administrator of the Year Nomination Form.

TCBSBM / TASB 2022 Scholarship Funds


The TCBSBM / TASB 2022 Scholarship is funded by both Texas Caucus of Black School Board Members and Texas Association of School Board.

The TCBSBM / TASB 2022 Scholarship provides one-year scholarships for up to $3,000 to  ten African American students  with average academic achievement and financial need working towards a first year college degree.  Some fields of consideration may include Business, Finance Management, Coding, Education, Technology, Engineering, or Marketing, Law or related fields.

TCBSBM / Texas A & M Collaborative Dean Opportunity Grant Program


ATTENTION TCBSBM - School Board Members The Collaborative Dean Opportunity Grant Program has been designed with YOU in mind:

The Collaborative Collaboration provides TCBSBM, members of The Collaborative to attend A&M­ Commerce to pursue graduate degrees through the Dean Opportunity grant program.

TEXAS CAUCUS OF BLACK SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS  are please to offer the following scholarships opportunities to students & members who are identified as apart of the Collaborative Collaboration


TCBSBM / Texas A & M Scholarship Funds Collaborative Pledge


TCBSBM in collaboration with Texas A&M University Commerce will provide financial support to any high school graduating seniors of TCBSBM member districts through the Collaborative Pledge program.  Texas A&M-Commerce will pay the remaining balance on any tuition not covered by other financial assistance, provided the student applicant meets the criteria specified under the eligibility sections.

 

High School graduating students who are members of TCBSBM member districts and pursue undergraduate degrees, respectively, at A & M Commerce will also have access to  guidance in this program from A&M Commerce advisors, mentors, faculty and staff who are invested in student success.

TCBSBM / Texas A & M Collaborative Rising Lion Scholarship Program


Through the Collaborative Collaboration, The Collaborative member student graduates will also have the opportunity to participate in the Rising Lion program.

The Rising Lion program is a structured academic program that allows incoming freshmen to start taking college classes the second summer term (July) and to take advantage of incentives given only to those who enroll in the Rising Lion program.
